Bethany Matheson has been working towards this company since she was in graduate school at Vanderbilt University. Motivated to help individuals and families break cycles of trauma after generations of harm, she pursued high-demand, trauma-focused specializations while obtaining her master's degree and completing her post-masters hours. She is now not only an expert clinician in body-focused EMDR therapy, but a trainer and consultant for therapists across the country.

Beth received her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2017, and is currently licensed as an LPC/MHSP in TN and TX. She completed her basic training in EMDR with the Personal Transformation Institute at the first available opportunity in 2016. Out of graduate school, Beth was hired by Thrive Counseling in NC to start a child and adolescent trauma program. She continues to partner with Thrive as one of their EMDR trainers, after completing all requirements to become a certified therapist, consultant, and continued education provider through EMDRIA.

Beth is also a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, with an additional 100 hour certification in trauma-informed yoga. She has experience teaching in traditional classroom settings, providing holistic workshops, and creating individualized care plans for clients. She fuses EMDR and somatic-focused interventions using her experience with yoga to release unresolved trauma and stress from the nervous system safely and effectively.

Beth is a level two Reiki practitioner and has used Reiki as an adjunct service for clients wanting to address the physical, emotional, and energetic impacts of trauma processing.
